How to Make your Own Homemade Perfume

Love tonic perfume How to make perfume: I’m going to share to you a special recipe in making your own homemade perfume, now that we already have some knowledge about Essential oils and Fragrance oils from my previous post.

I call this special recipe because perfumers classify this to be among the love potion group of fragrance. There are claims that this lovely scent increases the feeling of love and passion and also considered as an Aphrodisiac. Is there really such thing as love potion and would it be great if we could actually make one? Try this recipe and see it for yourself.

Homemade Love Tonic Recipe

3 drops sandalwood essential oil
2 drops vanilla essential oil
3 drops cedar wood essential oil
15 drops bergamot essential oil
1/2 pt (300ml) 70 percent alcohol or vodka

Direction: Make sure to secure a container bottle for your perfume mixture. Take the vodka, raise it up and shout “cheers!” then take a big gulp. (just Kidding)
(Seriously) Pour the measured vodka or alcohol first to your bottle container followed by the oil ingredients. Shake well and you’re done with your love potion.

Making homemade perfume is indeed easy but it also depends on the availability of materials. I'm glad that this post was helpful in a way.

To Maicel: There's indeed money in selling homemade fragrances. There are some Pinoy celebrities who already ventured in this kind of perfume business. Oh by the way, yes I'm a certified pure blood Filipino^^
